Don’t judge this place by its size. It has more to offer per capita than most other countries of the world. Belgium is a country where your infatuation will turn to love. It is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world, with a list of awesome things to do in Belgium. It has medieval belfries, the modern and hip cafes and the nostalgic galleries and museums.

The first Advice that I would like to give to all the potential Belgium travelers is that park your tight fitted jeans and pants right in your closet back home. Pack your bags with elastic waist pants as this country is the “Heaven on Earth” for Chocolate and Chips. For me, this place had world’s most delicious chocolate that I could have ever come across. My Sweet tooth in this country was at a feast with no limitations or boundaries.

Belgian Dark Chocolate!!! I still have the taste in mouth so fresh and to die for.

The sound of Brussels has always reignited feelings. The minute I landed in Brussels the sights, the smells and the sounds gave me an aroma that I knew would be stored in my memories till I breathe my last. Brussels is the capital of Belgium. It has an amazing café and restaurant culture. It takes you back in time with its history and brings you back with mesmerizing current culture, and its modern star attractions.

A number of places from the things to do in Belgium list come from its capital city Brussels. You must indulge in the Baroque and Gothic splendor this city has to offer. Some of the places you must visit should include:

Grand Place - This is situated at the heart of the city, built between 1696 and 1700 flaunts the elegant and unique architecture of its Gildehuizen (the guild houses). The most impressive and well-known buildings of the square would include Maximilian Chamber, Hôtel de Ville, Council Chamber, Escalier d'Honneur, banqueting hall and Marriage Chamber.

Mannekin Pis - It is also known as the “Oldest Citizen of Brussels”. It wrapped by a number of legends.

Saint-Michel Cathedral - It has an impressive facade and it majestically rises above a profound and broad flight of steps. It is lavishly furnished and the most outstanding thing about its interior is the windows that are made of stained glass.
